Consultation & Booking
What happens during a consultation?
We carry out a full skin and facial assessment, discuss your concerns and goals, and talk through the most suitable treatments for you. There’s no pressure to proceed, just honest advice.
Can I book a consultation online?
Is there a fee for the consultation?
Yes, the consultation is £35 – but this fee is redeemable against treatment if you decide to go ahead.
Will I be pressured to book treatment?
Never. We aim to provide clarity and guidance so you can make decisions at your own pace.
Can I speak to someone before booking?
Absolutely. You’re welcome to get in touch with our team by phone or email before booking.
Payments & Pricing
How much do treatments cost?
Pricing varies depending on the treatment area and product used. Please visit our Pricing page for more detail.
Is the consultation fee redeemable against treatment?
Yes. If you proceed with a treatment, the £35 consultation fee is deducted from your total cost.
Do you offer payment plans or split payments?
We do not currently offer instalment plans, but you can speak to us if you’d like to discuss payment options.
What payment methods do you accept?
We accept most major credit and debit cards.
Are there any hidden costs?
No. You’ll be given a full breakdown during your consultation before any treatment is booked.
Appointments & Aftercare
How long do treatments take?
What should I do to prepare for my appointment?
We’ll provide full pre-treatment instructions by email once your consultation is complete.
Are there any side effects I should expect?
Mild swelling, redness or bruising are common and usually resolve within 24–48 hours. We’ll talk you through aftercare in detail.
Will I need to take time off work?
Most clients return to normal activity immediately after treatment.
Can I wear makeup after my treatment?
We generally recommend avoiding makeup for at least 12 hours after most injectable treatments.
How soon can I exercise after treatment?
Avoid strenuous exercise for 24 hours after most treatments to reduce the risk of swelling or bruising.
Treatment Maintenance & Longevity
How long will my results last?
This depends on the treatment and area—but typically ranges from 6 to 18 months.
Will I need top-ups or repeat treatments?
Some clients return regularly for maintenance, while others come back as needed. We’ll help you decide what’s right for you.
What happens if I stop getting treatments?
Your skin will gradually return to its natural state. There’s no long-term damage or ‘rebound’ effect.
Can treatments be reversed?
Some treatments (like hyaluronic acid fillers) can be dissolved if needed. We always prioritise safety and balance.
Do I need a consultation before treatment?
Yes. Every client begins with a 30-minute consultation—either in person or online—so we can assess your needs and discuss your goals in detail.
Are your treatments safe?
Yes. All treatments are delivered by qualified, medically trained practitioners using clinically approved products in a regulated clinical setting.
Will I look ‘overdone’?
No. Our approach is conservative and natural. We believe in subtle enhancements that preserve your unique features and facial balance.
Is there downtime after treatment?
Most treatments involve little to no downtime. Some clients may experience mild redness, swelling, or bruising which typically subsides within 24–48 hours.
What’s the difference between a facial aesthetician and a medically qualified practitioner?
Aesthetic practitioners with medical qualifications (like Dr. Emily) have advanced clinical training and an in-depth understanding of facial anatomy, allowing them to treat more complex concerns safely and precisely.
Treatment-Specific
Are anti-wrinkle treatments the same as Botox?
Botox is a brand name for a prescription-only anti-wrinkle treatment. While we do not promote specific products, we do offer wrinkle reduction therapies which are discussed in your consultation.
How long do dermal fillers last?
Depending on the area treated and the type of filler used, results can last anywhere from 6 to 18 months.
Is a lip flip the same as lip filler?
No. A lip flip uses muscle-relaxing treatment to subtly lift the upper lip, while lip fillers add volume and shape using hyaluronic acid.
How do Skinboosters work?
Skinboosters use microinjections of hydrating hyaluronic acid to improve skin texture, radiance, and elasticity.
What’s the difference between Profhilo and other fillers?
Profhilo doesn’t add volume, it spreads evenly to boost collagen and elastin, improving firmness and hydration.
What are Polynucleotides?
Polynucleotides are regenerative molecules that support skin healing, hydration, and repair—particularly beneficial for sensitive or ageing skin.
Concerns & Conditions
Can facial treatments help with acne scarring?
Yes – treatments like skin boosters and regenerative therapies can improve skin texture, tone, and support collagen production to minimise the appearance of scarring.
What’s the best way to treat deep wrinkles?
That depends on your skin and the depth of the lines. Hydration treatments, collagen-stimulating therapies, and gentle injectables can help soften them over time.
How do I know if I have volume loss?
Volume loss typically appears as hollow cheeks, under-eye shadows, or sagging around the jawline. A consultation can help determine if this is the case and what may help.
Can anything help under-eye circles?
Yes – depending on the cause (pigmentation, volume loss, skin texture), treatments like hydration therapy or subtle volume restoration may help.
Is excessive sweating treatable?
Excessive underarm sweating (hyperhidrosis) can be managed with support from a qualified practitioner. We recommend booking a consultation to explore your options.
Age-Related
Am I too young for aesthetic treatments?
We do not treat anyone under 18. If you’re in your 20s or 30s and concerned about skin changes or prevention, a consultation can help you understand your options.
Is it too late to start if I’m in my 50s or 60s?
Not at all. Many clients begin or continue their aesthetic journey later in life. Skin can benefit from hydration and regenerative support at any age.
Can I combine treatments?
Yes – many of our clients benefit from a tailored plan that combines different treatments for the most natural, balanced result.
